Reading and Book Signing
May 13, 2010 6:30PM – 8:30PM
Banyen Books and Sound
Vancouver, BC
I will be speaking about and reading from my book, Did You Know I Would Miss You? Come join the conversation about how to heal from having lost someone you love to suicide. The experience of the suicide survivor is minimized in our culture, and yet The American Psychiatric Association says that it is comparable to that of a concentration camp survivor.
Write a Wild Horse
March 13, 2010 10AM – 3 PM
Free Spirit Yoga (Thornhill) studio
Maple Ridge, BC
There are still a few openings in this one-day women’s writing workshop, but it’s filling up fast! Seize this chance to canter through your barriers, trot with your Muse, and joust with your demons in playful combat. Break in your anthology of undiscovered stories and poetry, echoing in your bones and blood. Saddle up the shadow, the dream world, personal archetypes, and other realms that evoke the instinctive writer. Whatever your genre, Write a Wild Horse will get you out of your stall and into the open frontier of your creativity.
